Memories

Memories......there are so many. So many that I can remember. So many that I can't. So many that I'm not quite sure happened. So many that I wish had. What I keep remembering more than any one specific memory is the feeling. That giddy joyousness that you probably hadn't felt since you were a kid on Christmas morning. not quite a narrative....

i probably won't appreciate dwelling on the fact that as i scroll through my tour stories they're all short on characters and plot and long on introspective trip reflections...many of which seem less menacing from a distance than i remember them feeling at the time....and others that have been downwright transformative...especially powerful given their brevity....like standing alone in line for the water fountain (parched!) at the Spectrum, some point mid-late eighties, watching the segmented,… Continue
